Louis Bissette was named Chairman of the UNC Board of Governors. Lou is replacing John Fennebresque, who resigned from the board in October. Mr. Bissette will serve the remainder of the term which ends July 1.

“I’m not nearly as smart as these people on this board, but I’ve always had a knack of being able to work with different kinds of people and getting people to pull in the same direction,” Bissette said in a recent interview. “I thought if I could do this, if I could serve for six months, and accomplish these goals, I would feel very, very good about it.”
